Fire / EMS

Fire and EMS departments are responsible for providing fire protection, emergency medical services, and disaster response to Ross Township communities. Their duties include:

• Fire suppression – Responding to fires, containing hazards, and preventing property damage.

• Emergency medical response – Providing ambulance services, first aid, and paramedic care.

• Rescue operations – Assisting in vehicle accidents, water rescues, and hazardous material incidents.

• Fire prevention and education – Conducting safety inspections, enforcing fire codes, and educating residents.

• Disaster preparedness – Coordinating emergency response plans for natural disasters and large-scale incidents.
